Aron Sasu: Can he finally silence those that doubt his potential?

Since breaking into the team three seasons ago, Aron Sasu has divided fan opinion. After breaking into the senior squad following a successful spell in the academy, he has sometimes cut a frustrating figure after being played in different positions. Now, in the final year of his current contract, can he silence his critics?

After starting this season in a forward role, Aron Sasu has now been deployed in a left wing-back position. From the outside, this suggests the 21-year-old is a very versatile player. That may well be the case, as he can play in either role.

This is what makes the academy graduate a perplexing puzzle. Is either position his best? Where is his natural position? It would be easy to say he is an attacking player; his speed and agility do mean he can take on defenders, and truth be told, his current position is out of necessity due to the injury problems manager Johnnie Jackson is having to deal with.
