Sleep Out to help out - DLAG in motion again

You may have heard of them, or certainly know the acronym, but for those not familiar with the Dons Local Action Group (DLAG), here is a brief overview of how they started and what they do.
When the COVID-19 pandemic started in the spring of 2019, and gates were shut around the sporting and general world, it was a very hard time for all. Wimbledon fans have always been about the community and keeping their feet firmly rooted in the area. This prompted some action to help those most affected.
The basics, like food collection stalls outside major supermarkets, were set up around the local towns. Through the overwhelming generosity of the public, it soon became clear that even wider action was needed. The pandemic only highlighted the needs of people who were struggling. With food essentials being the main focus, and you will still see stalls pitched up now, so please give if you can, a broader landscape was becoming clearer.
