REVIEW: A battling no score draw on the road shows resilience

It wasn’t quite the result that AFC Wimbledon Women would have liked, but a clean sheet and a point are always better than a loss.
Manager Sab Jamal went back to the side that defeated Exeter City over a fortnight ago, and despite several chances, they failed to grab a winning goal.
The point kept the Dons in seventh place in the table, and still with a game in hand on most teams, and two in some cases. It was a night that saw Oxford United drop their first points of the season in a 2-2 draw, and second-place Fulham capitalised with a 1-0 win away at Lewes to cut the gap at the top to five points with a game in hand. The top two will take some catching, but maybe Oxford are showing some cracks as we move into the middle third of the fixture list.
